Bravissima! Torneremo sicuramente !

The most conscientious, thoughtful, fun and knowledgeable guide who truly listens to what you want. We had the most AMAZING experience with Audrey. She listened to what we wanted (for us about Greening Bordeaux) and made a tailor made trip full of specific places, peopl with whom to talk, planted areas, buildings, history… more than we could ever have expected. We can’t wait to do a wine trip with her! She is conscientious, knowledgeable, caring, and such a lovely person around whom to be. We feel so lucky that we got to have her as our guide and just to wort her as a person. We couldn’t recommend her more highly!!

Amazing personalised wine tour - off the beaten track Before travelling to Bordeaux, I did a lot of research on the best ways to visit the wine farms / chateaus. Self-driving wasn't an option and I definitely did not want the big tour groups, or the big touristy wine farms. A private guide seemed unaffordable at first - but then I discovered Audrey and her company Les Voyages du vin. What an absolute gem and I cannot recommend her highly enough! She listened carefully to my requirements and proposed an itinerary that was spot-on. We started day 1 by spending about 2-3 hours walking around Bordeaux, learning about the history of wine in this beautiful city and finished with a wine tasting to introduce a number of appellations and ground us for the following 2 days. Laurie was our chauffeur for the next 2 days and she is another find I cannot recommend highly enough. Spotless car (Tesla) and every need taken care of. Day 2 consisted of a full day on the left bank where Audrey introduced us to 4 wine farms / chateaus - each carefully chosen with an emphasis on biodynamic / organic farming, authentic small owner run, and most of them dating back to the middle ages. The wines were outstanding and the chateaus absolutely delightful (think an ancient chateaux hidden in a forest with horses grazing as you enter; or a chateaux that has been handed down from mother to daughter since the 1500's and is still in the same family today). We hardly encountered other tourists and were never rushed. We had a wonderful picnic at one of the chateaus for lunch. Day 3 shifted to the right bank for the full day and was as good as Day 2. We visited 3 wine farms / chateaus plus St Emilion for a short guided tour. Day 2 also incorporated 2 very specific personal asks and Audrey went out of her way to make it happen. It was an absolute perfect end to the day and we couldn't have asked for more. For anyone interested in learning more about wine, who cares about sustainable farming, and want to explore authentic delightful wine farms off the beaten track - Audrey is your go to person!!

A wonderful couple of tours in Bordeaux We were in Bordeaux as part of a cruise, and a friend of ours in the wine business suggested that we contact Audrey of Les Voyages du Vin to set up tours of the area. We first did a half day tour with her that included a visit to a winery in Pessac-Leognan followed by a tour of the old city of Bordeaux. Both were great experiences. We had some excellent wine in Pessac-Leognan and learned much about the area and the wines there. The tour of Bordeaux was also great, focusing on the history of the town (which is fascinating) and ending with a wine tasting at a local restaurant. Audrey then recommended an excellent place for supper. The next morning, we went out St. Emilion. We first stopped for a tour of a winery that included wine tasting and an excellent lunch next to the vineyard. We then went to the town of St. Emilion, where Audrey told us about the history of the area. We went to a winery there for a tour that included a walk through the subterranean limestone caves that were cut into that area over the course of many years and finished with another wine tasting. Both of these days were memorable. Audrey did a phenomenal job of setting up the tours and tastings, picking wonderful wineries that we never would have found on our own. Her knowledge of the history of the areas and the winemaking practices is comprehensive. Finally, she is engaging and a lot of fun to be around. We absolutely recommend her tours of Bordeaux and hope that we can have her help us with tours in other regions she handles, including Corsica and Italy. If you're in this area and have any interest in the wines, do your best to get a tour with her.

"Un parcours très sympa, tout à la fois érudit et distrayant à travers les places et rues du vieux Bordeaux. Audrey nous raconte la ville et le vin à travers l’histoire, avec des anecdotes, des citations, des gravures : c’est vivant et passionnant. Bravo, je recommande !"
