Day 1: Welcome to Bordeaux!
Transfer to the hotel. Explore Bordeaux with a guided wine-themed tour, followed by an elegant dinner cruise on the Garonne River.
Day 2: Heading for the right bank: Pomerol / Saint-Emilion
Visit an organic estate in Pomerol, then immerse yourself in the underground cellars of Saint-Émilion. Lunch at a Grand Cru . Guided tour of the historic village of Saint-Émilion, followed by a meeting with a biodynamic producer in Montagne-Saint-Émilion. Dinner at your leisure in Bordeaux.
Day 3: The unusual Médoc: Pauillac / Arcachon / Dune du Pilat
Visit a Pauillac estate that is a member of the "Bordeaux Pirate" collective. After a typical lunch ( terroirs platters) at a family-run wine estate, relax in Arcachon and climb the majestic Dune du Pilat, the highest sand dune in Europe. Return to Bordeaux and enjoy dinner at a traditional brasserie.
Day 4: Culture and panoramic views of Bordeaux
Morning at the Cité du Vin, the most beautiful wine museum in the world! Included in the visit: a glass of wine tasting with a view of the entire city. Lunch with a view of Bordeaux, then free time to stroll around Bordeaux before a cocktail reception on a rooftop.
Day 5: The liquid gold of Sauternes
Exclusive visit to a Premier Grand cru Sauternes estate, with a vertical tasting of several vintages. Departure in the afternoon.
