FAQ Creating tailor-made trips
Yes, but after discussing it with you, we'll tell you whether or not we're competent in this destination. We have chosen to specialize in France, Italy and Corsica because we know these three countries very well, having lived, traveled and studied there. This guarantees the quality of our itineraries.
This is our speciality, but we can also create trips on the theme of gastronomy, broadly speaking. We also include in our itineraries historical sites, cities, beaches, natural sites to visit, always according to your desires and the duration of your trip.
Our trips for individual customers (solo travelers, couples, families, etc.) are independent trips: this means that we prepare everything for you (flight and train reservations, car and bike rentals, accommodation, activities, etc.) and provide you with a travel journal containing your detailed itinerary and any vouchers to be exchanged. We provide this guide in electronic format (PDF format designed for easy navigation on a tablet or smartphone), and in paper format on request. You will not be accompanied during your trip, but the route will be mapped out for you.
We will offer you the opportunity to take out travel insurance with our partner Assurever. We will provide you with all the details and rates in the quote.
We won't be able to provide you with a quality service if we don't have enough time. We only accept requests for departure within a minimum of 3 weeks.
We accept payments by credit card, bank transfer, and for our French customers, we accept vacation vouchers. We will provide you with a payment schedule indicating the date of payment for the deposit and the balance.
All cancellation conditions will be specified in the Special Terms and Conditions of Sale that you will receive with your quote.
FAQ Services in Bordeaux
Why can't I book vineyard tours online?
Because we tailor our tours according to the date and number of participants, it would be impossible for us to plan days and prices in advance. We respond to yourtour requeststour via the request form on the Wine Tours page.
Where are the wine-tasting workshops held?
Our workshops take place at partner wine merchants, restaurants, and hotels. All are located in downtown Bordeaux. You will find the exact location of each workshop you book directly from the booking page.
Which chateaux do you visit on your tours ?
We provide you with a brief description of châteaux we take you châteaux , but we do not give you their names. Trade secrets!
I'm with my children. Do they have to pay?
The Wine Walk is discounted for children. Tasting workshops are not open to those under 18. Excursions to the vineyards are not recommended for children, who may find the day very long. For teenagers, we can offer a reduced price depending on the pricing policy of châteaux host us. In all cases, alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited for those under 18.
Can I bring my dog?
Your dog can accompany you on the Wine Walk in Bordeaux city center, but will not be allowed to enter the wine tasting workshops. For wine tours, it depends on château (some accept animals, others do not) and your mode of transportation. Please let us know when requesting a quote if you will be accompanied by your pet.
How do I pay for services in Bordeaux? Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Visits and tastings can be booked online and paid for by credit card via the booking module. The refund policy will be explained to you when you make your reservation. If you prefer to pay by bank transfer or vacation vouchers, you can send us a reservation request and we will issue an invoice that must be paid at least 24 hours before the start of the activity. Any cancellation less than 24 hours before the start of the activity will not be eligible for a refund.
For vineyard tours, we will send you an invoice that must be paid in full by bank transfer or via a payment link in order to secure your reservation. For our French customers, we accept vacation vouchers. Any cancellation of a tour than 72 hours before departure will not be eligible for a refund.
