Audrey Chauvet, enthusiastic wine-guide!

Raised on sandy-clay soil on the banks of the Loire, my passion for wine was confirmed by contact with the schist and sea spray of Cap Corse. Now based in Bordeaux, I explore the thousand facets of this vast vineyard. I speak fluent English and Italian (French is my mother tongue).
As a former journalist specializing in environmental issues, my passion for wine was born when I went on assignment to visit vineyards. Because even if you go there to talk about organic farming, terroir biodiversity, you always end up tasting a good wine with the winemaker!
So I decided to get serious about wine. After a few amateur courses in Paris, I went back to school: I obtained the University Diploma "From vines to glasses" from the University of Corsica in 2021.
I then decided to go and study in Italy to discover the incredible diversity of Italian wines and break away from the Franco-French approach to wine. I obtained the international WSET2 and WSET3 (Wine and spirit education trust) diplomas in Florence and Turin (mention Pass with distinction) in 2022 and 2023 (level 2 passed in Italian, level 3 in English). These diplomas are recognized worldwide by wine professionals for the quality of their method and content.
I created Les Voyages du vin Bastia in 2021, with the desire to offer travelers authentic encounters with artisans and winemakers. I have led tours of vineyards, organized trips to meet beekeepers, blacksmiths, olive oil producers, and more, and hosted Corsican wine tastings in a luxury hotel in Cap Corse.
Back in Bordeaux in 2023, I worked in châteaux a wine tourism manager in Graves and Saint-Emilion. But the desire for freedom returned... And so came the rebirth of Voyages du Vin version 2025: a travel planner specializing in wine and food tours, and a wine guide in the city of Bordeaux and the vineyards.
See you soon!
